Venice City of Canals, The Bridge of Sighs in Venice, Italy, named by Lord Byron in the 19th century, as the last view of Venice seen by prisoners crossing over the Rio di Palazzo to their cells.
Local legend says the lovers will be granted eternal love and bliss if they kiss on a gondola at sunset under the Bridge of Sighs as the bells of St. Mark's Campanile toll. "Ponte dei Sospiri"
