Description
Walking through the old section of Montevideo, Uruguay, I noticed many old ornate doors and door knobs, often wondering what was the history of the people living inside behind these old doors.
Montevideo is the capital and the largest city of Uruguay in South America situated in the southern coast of the country and on the northeastern bank of Rio de la Plata.

Great photo! Like you, I am always curious (some may call it nosy!) about doors, door knobs, and stairs. I am so glad I am not alone in this curiosity! Great image of the knob which seems so ornate next to the peeling paint of the wood. I am off to discuss this in Beauty is Mysterious in The World We See.
