Description
The Captain Richard A. Schram Memorial Chapel, originally erected in 1945 at the Glenview Naval Air Station. In 1970, it was named to honor the late Captain Richard Schram, a Navy stunt pilot, who died in 1969 while performing. This historic nondenominational chapel served as a house of worship for many service men and women. It was moved and restored from the naval base after closure to the present location in Glenview, IL.

Congratulations on this special feature "Images that tell a Story" in the Women Photographers group, for 3-28-2018. Selections were curated from images that had been in the group for quite some time, some dating back to 2013. Most all chosen were those that made me curious enough to look closer at the image and discover the stories behind them. You are invited to archive this image in the discussion for members titled "Images that tell a Story." Thank you for your participation in our group!
